WHY THAILAND
Thailand is a great country with a prodigious history, the origins of which are rooted in the ancient Buddhist Kingdom of the Mon and the Khmer Empire of Angkor. The result of this rich history is an abundance of amazing Thai architectural treasures countrywide to be discovered in the most obscure of places, be it in Bangkok, Ayutthaya, Lopburi or Sukhothai .
If the architecture fascinates then it is the sculptures that are the art that most exalt the Thai creative genius. The reclining Buddha of the Wat Pho temple in Bangkok is one of more than one thousand Buddha images including one of the largest single images which is 49 metres in length.
