If I think of the perfect restaurant, I would want a Michelin star menu that changes daily with stunning panoramic views and an intimate chef’s table for that personalised one on one service.  Well, if you have similar tastes than look no further.  In the gorgeous city of Copenhagen,  where every citizen has a bike, renowned chef Morten Kryger Wulff had the same idea and opened a restaurant called Cykelkokken.  If you haven’t guessed it yet, he is known as the Bicycle Chef.

In 2002, Morten designed a mobile bicycle restaurant and he made Copenhagen his restaurant setting.  On every gastronomic tour 12 very lucky guests will enjoy a 5-course menu over the course of a 4-5 hour bicycle tour, each course at a different location.  Guests get to experience the city in an innovative way, stopping to collect wild herbs and enjoying true Nordic Cuisine as close to the source as possible.  The tour ends on a cargo pier where the last course is enjoyed and memories of the day are shared, no longer as individuals but part of the bigger Morten family.

Morten’s philosophy is simple, creating experiences with people for people,  …. and the best part of it, you are burning calories as you go!!!
