Ukraine, you may be wondering what the fuss is all about, well it is simple, this country is phenomenal, at 603,628 km2 Ukraine is the biggest country in Europe after Russia. It has massive mineral and iron ore reserves and is considered as one of the big players in the production of staple foods like maize, pumpkin and sunflower.
Albeit that they have always had a tumultuous relationship with Russia, ever since their independence in August of 1991, they have strived to be different and so too their major cities. But the innovation of Lviv is legendary, as they have created the ultimate amazing race, posted on the side of a building, the world’s biggest crossword puzzle. The crossword puzzle is 30 m tall and spans 19 squares across and 34 squares high. The ingenuity lies in the fact the answers to the puzzle lie scattered across the city in various museums, monuments, and parks, enticing people to explore the city. Then at night you can return to the crossword puzzle and see if your explorations was successful because the answers illuminate with fluorescent paint after dark.
