If the Tower of London Ravens are lost or fly away, the Crown will fall and Britain with it – so strong is the belief that for centuries at least 6 captive bred Ravens have been kept at the Tower. The ravens are treated as Royalty, they live in a palace and a dedicated Ravenmaster is tasked with keeping them fed and in good health.

Like police and soldiers, the Ravens receive an attestation card and can be dismissed if their conduct is deemed unacceptable… and it wouldn’t be the first time that a Raven be banished to a zoo (maybe in Canada) for bad behaviour.
