Every year thousands of pilgrims make the 315km journey from Rome to Ortona on the Cammino di San Tommaso. To ensure that this pilgrimage route did not lose its popularity; the proprietors of Dora Sarchese vineyard and a non-profit organisation in the small town of Caldari di Ortona in Abruzzo, came up with the ingenious plan of literally erecting a free flowing “Fontana di Vino” or wine fountain. Pilgrim’s or for that matter any passer-by now have access to free red wine from the wine fountain.
Just imagine how popular gyms would be, if they embraced this wonderful novel idea.
